Middle Node.js Developer

  • 3+ years in commercial NodeJS development;
  • English Level intermediate or higher;
  • Good knowledge of OOP basics;
  • Strong knowledge of native Javascript including OOP techniques;
  • Strong knowledge of HTTP protocol, request/response, DNS, full request life cycle;
  • Strong knowledge of ES6;
  • Strong knowledge of Promises;
  • Experience with Typescript;
  • Knowledge of SQL, understanding of relational and noSQL storages;
  • Commercial experience in any MongoDB/ PostgreSQL/ MySQL/ Oracle;
  • Experience in any Redis/Memcache;
  • Commercial experience in Git, Mercurial, Bitbucket, Github;
  • Experience in any cloud services AWS/ Heroku/ Google/ Azure


  • Experience with Nest.js;
  • Commercial experience in any React.js/ Angular 6+;
  • Familiarity with GraphQL;
  • Experience in Docker, Kubernetes;
  • Understanding of blockchain technology.

Client Description
Two streaming music platforms have merged to provide the largest library of interactive music content after having worked with thousands of artists. Their music sharing technology now offers an interactive audio and video experience that allows subscribers to stream music, make playlists and share with other subscribers.

Project Description
Design and build infrastructure to combine audio/video libraries and interactive experiences, and clean and catalog data to store in the cloud.

Duties and Responsibilities

  • Be a member of an agile team that owns the development for a specific client or platform
  • Collaborate with other software engineering teams, design team, product owners and managers, and business stakeholders to implement new features
  • Development of the backend using Node.js and related frameworks (Express.js, Nest.js)
  • Building RESTful APIs
  • Develop fully functional application components and writing clean, testable code
  • Perform tests and debugging to maximize application efficiency and performance
  • Responsible for performing unit testing and integration testing
  • Create technical documents and artifacts for developed software products
